Commander Keen is...

“ENOUGH!” yells the Earth president, startling his secretary.

“Everything okay, sir?” she asks in a professional tone even though the person standing in front of her is not a man in a suit and tie but an eight-year-old boy.

“Yes, everything's fine, Cheril.”

Cheril suspects he's lying but she has no authority over him.

Billy Blaze, the child prodigy who conquered the world and became its president. Yet no one would have any interest in causing him to lose his position. Since Billy became president, world peace has become possible, conflicts have ceased, and Earth's technologies have advanced so much that most incurable diseases are now curable.

As the secretary returns to work, the Earth president tries to take his mind off things but he can't. He keeps thinking about that moment. The line he shouldn't have crossed. He killed him. Mortimer McMire. To save the galaxy, yes, but he killed him and became like him. A villain. A “bad guy.” Billy conquered Earth to ensure that no other Mortimer would ever be born so that peace would last forever. But in the eyes of many, I am a tyrant just like you Mort. How ironic. I will carry this burden until the end of my days. He sighs and looks at a pile of documents lying on his desk. New laws to be passed. How annoying!
